Email Marketing Executive

Haven Holidays, part of the Haven and Bourne Leisure Group, is a department where the overall aim is about being an antidote for daily life for our holiday makers on our 36 parks, this is also true for Caravan Sales for our holiday home owners.  As a team, we support to deliver a set of crystal clear values, ensuring that all team members help to create amazing experiences and memories for our owners and holidaymakers.

The aim is to deliver an effortless experience for our holidaymakers and owners so they can relax and enjoy the lifestyle they envisaged prior to joining the owner community on park or prior to coming on holiday with us.

Responsible for:
•The development and execution of email campaigns on a national and local basis for Haven Holidays.
•Manage the end-to-end process of the weekly holiday’s sales emails. Including briefing, designing emails in Dreamweaver using basic HTML skills, deployment, reporting and suggesting improvements for future campaigns. 
•Work closely with our external email agency and maintain strong relationships and good communication to ensure campaigns are delivered correctly.
•Effectively managing the day-to-day team relationships, internal studio and wider marketing stakeholders ensuring the process is smooth and our activity lands right, on brand, on time and on budget.
•Proactively using internal reporting channels to understand effectiveness of email campaigns and recommend improvements.  
•Working as part of the overall Sales and Marketing team to ensure there is synergy across all of what we do, taking time to understand other channels and look for opportunities to add value to other activity or wider campaigns contributing to one overall marketing activity plan.
•To ensure that the quality and appropriateness of communication is in line with the brand standards and guidelines.
•Display the correct behaviour and conduct to set an example to more junior team members and be able to appropriately represent the team in wider meetings with senior leaders of the business.
•To manage purchase order and invoicing process to ensure expenditure is kept in line with set budgets and reconciled as appropriate. Keeping the budget sheet up to date and have a clear and detailed understanding of the numbers. 
•Keeping close to competitor activity and industry insights to ensure our activity achieves cut through and best ROI. 
•Attend regular 121s with line manager and follow the appraisal process.
•Develop and own a personal learning plan. Ensuring it is up to date, feedback is sought and progression tracked. 
•As and when required, to carry out ad hoc tasks or projects as required. Set out and agree expectations and manage timely delivery.
•Ensure all supporting admin duties are carried out on time.

•Contributing towards company EBITDA
•Holidays achieving billings targets
•Evidence of a ‘Breath of Fresh Air’ approach to training
•Great team work

•Proven experience in an online marketing role with specific email experience 
•Fully comprehensive and up to date knowledge of email marketing with a broad knowledge of other marketing channels 
•Experience working with Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop is ideal but not essential as this can be taught on the job
•Experience of working with agencies, internal team and other suppliers to form effective partnerships
•Experience within leisure/travel is ideal but not required
•Preferably educated to a degree level standard or equivalent
•Ideally have a marketing related qualification
•Excellent Microsoft Office skills
•Excellent communication and listening skills are essential
•Full driving licence
•Prepared to travel and stay at parks when required
