We have an exciting opportunity for an
Academy Training Partner to join our Talent team here at Haven in Bourne
An experienced Learning & Development Partner is required to help shape, design and implement the Training Academies learning and development proposition within Haven. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a team, who are already having a massive impact on team engagement and guest and owner experience.
The role requires proven ability in stakeholder management to ensure we design impactful end to end learning solutions and learning content that provides the right technical skills required for all teams to be successful in role.
•Support with the further development of the first 90 days for all team members including systems, safe and secure training, skills to do the job all supported by a digital blended learning approach for both team and Leaders
•Responsible for working with the digital online learning team to ensure blended content is aligned to the 1st 90 days
•Support with the set-up of the training academy concept across both Haven parks to ensure we enhance the experience for Guest, Owners and Team Members
•Support with the development of a training solution that enhances technical skills in role and enhances leadership behaviours for a new leaders’ first 90 days in role
* Ensure all content is delivered to the delivery team via a train the trainer process (to include detailed trainer notes and measurement of effectiveness)
* To monitor and evaluate delivery of content to ensure accurate
•Provide a shared service approach when required across other Bourne Brands
•Create TNA’s for areas of responsibility to support with identifying further training requirements
•Deliver training sessions as and when required
•As part of any design, create the communication and engagement plan fully supported by a training delivery for programme rollout
•Analyse performance management information implementation and effectiveness providing insights and data to the business
•Through a shared accountability principle, build excellent relationships with operational and functional leaders as part of a wider stakeholder group
• Foster a culture of service excellence, role-modelling this and supporting our teams to deliver great service to the business.
•A training and development solution aligned to Central Operations and department standards that provides a clear one-stop shop solution for new and existing teams the right knowledge, experience and skills trained to be successful in role.
•To work within the agreed budgets set by the Academy Manager
•All team trained to a standard and delivering against that standard across all parks
•Improved team engagement and retention
•A resource to provide safe and secure solutions for our team, guest and business
•The ability to flex communication style to gain maximum engagement
•Experience of conducting detailed discovery activities to ensure solution fits business requirements
•Experience of designing detailed learning solutions (including trainer notes, slides and all supporting collateral)
•Some experience of designing leadership / management programmes
•Experience of delivering face to face, Train the trainer and blended learning solutions
•Hands-on experience implementing learning and development programmes and evaluating ROI
•Ability to be tactical when making decisions
•Great interpersonal and motivational skills
•Analytical and able to interpret data
•Great at influencing leaders across the business
•Experience in designing sales training programmes
•Experience in designing guest and owner experience programmes
•Familiar with digital learning solutions and systems
• An understanding of the latest thinking around learning and development (e.g. neuroscience, models and theories)
• A qualification in L&D (E.g. CIPD)
