Role Modelling effective leadership behaviours and our vision and values at all times. Leads and coaches the team on shift to ensure all areas of responsibility are covered, guiding junior team members when needed and escalating issues to Team Managers when required. Supports team through 90-day induction including completion of basic departmental training.
Takes ownership of the shift service delivery ensuring all team are guest obsessed.
Confidently deals with guest concerns with the ability to resolve problems, show empathy and understanding. Reacts to Guest Feedback inputs into resolution plans as part of the departmental team.
Monitors on-shift service and tasks, arranging appropriate resource when needed.
Achieves and exceeds shift targets and key performance indicators.
Ensures all team on shift have the required skills and training required for their role.
Highlights team members with potential to develop to the Team Manager to support ongoing talent development.
Complete relevant daily administrative tasks including accurate hours worked recording, safety compliance checks and legislative compliance checks.
Manage all daily Stock Processes, Cash Procedures and Cost Control in the department maximising profit and minimise loss.
